It can either raise your blood sugar right away or it may cause a delayed response.To see how pizza affects you, start by getting as accurate a carb count as possible.Then check your blood sugar two hours after you eat it.If there was a lot of meat and cheese on the pizza or if your blood sugar isn't what you expected, check your blood sugar again 3-5 hours after the start of your meal.If your blood sugar is high, it could be the high fat content in the pizza.Keep track of how pizza affects your blood sugar.
