Some NICUs are capable of doing just about everything for any possiblecircumstance that could arise for a baby that's born. But a lot of the NICUs are of a lower level of care. Nowthis doesn't mean that they provide less care or less able to provide the care that they provide. But what Imean by that is that there are certain NICUs that are unable to do heart surgeries or for that matter who don'thave the ability to have a pediatric surgery done at the bedside.
