Step-by-Step: Safe Lifting

Choose a preferred language

Standing up with your back straight, step directly in front of the item you are lifting. Keeping your back straight, fully bend down with your legs on either side of the item. Place your hands under the item on both sides. Stand straight up with the item in your hands. Use your legs, and not your back, to lift.
